Todd memorial lectureThe Department of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Sydney warmly invites delegates to its annual Todd Memorial Lecture, which in 2013 will also be serving as an AMPHORAE keynote address. The lecture will be delivered by Professor Harriet Flower of Princeton University on the topic 'Consensus and Community in Republican Rome'. It will be held in the General Lecture Theatre in the evening of Thursday 18 July, followed by a reception in the Nicholson Museum.
Postgraduate masterclassOn the morning of Friday 19 July, Professor Flower will be running a postgraduate masterclass titled "Who worshipped the genius Augusti?". This event is also free, and delegates can again indicate whether they wish to attend on their AMPHORAE registration form. Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a strict first-come first-served basis. |
